About
About
Licensed social worker for over thirty years with experience in direct clinical practice, public and private sectors of behavioral managed care, and county/state government creating, redefining and restructuring how services are delivered to meet the unique needs of children, youth, adults and families involved in multiple systems of care. My experience has been within all disability areas clinically, programmatically and administratively. I have worked in both public and private managed care and within Allegheny County and Philadelphia. I have been an adjunct professor in two schools of social work as well as Field Placement advisor. My approach is hands on, and I truly embrace that all systems of care must learn the 'story', the 'lifeline' and the 'lived experience' in order to support individuals and families with complex needs, trauma backgrounds and social determinants that impact access to and provision of care and resources. On a Micro Level, I conduct home visits, testify as an expert witness in Court, and create contextual formulations for treatment providers; on a Macro Level, I have experience in creating systems of care, developing programs in various social service areas, and clinical care management in a Medicaid setting.
